Gospel Temple Baptist Church, 279 Whipple Ave., will host a musical celebration at 4 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Melvin Brown.
Featured will be Eric Allen of Texad and the Anointed Voices, Shelly and the Corinthians, Chozyn Few, Miss “T,” Royal Angelettes, Horner Singers and the church praise team.
Mayors’ breakfast

The Rev. Dr. Joan Brown Campbell, retired director of the department of religion at Chautauqua Institution, will be keynote speaker at the 29th annual Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 25 at Mahoning Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St.
Mahoning Valley Association of Churches is the sponsor.
Tickets are $20 a person. Table of eight is $150. Ads must be submitted by Friday.

Seminar at church

New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St., will sponsor its annual seminar at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday on the theme, “Uniting, Equipping and Empowering the Church to Transform Our Communities.
Topics will be the role of the church in the communty, how the church is to address issues and crises in the nation, becoming a mission-minded church at the local and foreign levels, how individual members can impact the world and how the church empowers families.
Leaders will be the Rev. Dr. Lewis W. Macklin, men’s class; the Rev. Gena Thornton, women’s class; the Rev. James Bowie, co-ed class; Cherry Robinson, children’s class; and the Rev. Dr. Robin Woodberry, youth class.
