URGENT | Boardman police charge 12-year-old boy with inducing panic

BOARDMAN — Police charged a 12-year-old boy from St. Charles School this morning with inducing panic.

He was brought to the police station by his parent, township police Chief Jack Nichols said.

Earlier this week, St. Charles Principal Mary Welsh said a student notified a teacher of the student with a homicide list in the classroom.

No teachers were on the list, Welsh said. The list included eight names.

At this point the rest of the case will be handled in juvenile court, Nichols said.
