Ohio casino revenue for October to be revealed

COLUMBUS (AP) — Regulators are set to share the latest revenue figures for Ohio’s casinos, a month after all four facilities saw the numbers dip in a month-to-month comparison.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission is scheduled to release October’s casino revenue data this afternoon.

Revenue dropped from August to September for each of the casinos, and their combined revenue in September also was down compared with a year earlier. The casinos in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo pulled in slightly more than $63 million in September.

The voter-approved casinos have drawn more than $612 million so far this year. The state collects about one-third of those revenues in taxes and distributes the money to counties, school districts, host cities and other entities.
