Church schedules annual craft show

HOWLAND

The Missions Outreach Committee of Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road SE, will have its annual Helping Hands Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

More than 60 vendors with 80 tables will attend, and many are new to the show.

Admission is $2 at the door.

A home-cooked meal will be available.

All proceeds go directly to the Missions Outreach Committee budget.

Vets, service members to get free meals

WARREN

On Nov. 11, Covelli Enterprises is honoring those in uniform with free meals at any one of their local restaurants.

All veterans and military service members can receive a free You-Pick-Two at any Mahoning Valley Panera Bread by wearing his or her uniform or by showing Military I.D. or discharge papers.

O’Charley’s also is offering a free $9.99 entree to veterans and military personnel when they show their uniforms or military ID.

Accounting society will sponsor seminar

CANFIELD

The Mahoning Valley Accounting Society will present a professional standards and responsibilities seminar (formerly ethics) required for all CPAs on Tuesday at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St.

CPE: 3 hours PSR. Registration begins at 5 p.m., and the seminar will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Mary Constance Augustine-Thompson, CPA, will speak.

The fee is $119 for members and $139 for nonmembers and includes dinner.
