Can your high school make a music video?

Can your school make a music video?

Sign up by Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 for The Vindicator’s High School Music Video Challenge with singer-songwriter JD Eicher.

You’ve seen lip dub music videos, flash mob dances, and great wedding party videos.

The Vindicator wants to capture all that viral music video enthusiasm and challenge Valley high schools to produce their own music video.

Using the track "I'd Like to Get to Know You" by JD Eicher & the Goodnights http://www.jdeicherandthegoodnights.com/ , Valley schools will compete and take a stand against bullying.

Check out this 30-sec commercial here.

Who can sign up?

Any high-schooler who can organize part or all of their school to make a music video. Only one video per school. You must get school boss-man blessings!

How to Enter

To enter and get final instructions, email schoolvideo@vindy.com by Friday, Nov. 21, 2014. See the official rules for more details.

Why a school should do this?

• Pretty cool school project. Better than cleaning toilets together.

• Some students get to be the boss. Great leadership activity without having to run the 40-yard-dash in 4.4 seconds.

• It’s for anti-bullying. Be nice. Open up. Don’t be a hater.

• National recording artist JD Eicher will perform at all schools that sign up. He wanted to sing across America, and he’s doing it. Learn how he did so.

AND THE WINNING SCHOOL ... gets a full-blown band concert from JD and the band !!!

• We’ll put your school on the Vindy front page every day for a year. (That’s not true, but tell some people that to get them falsely excited. Just let them down easy on this untruth.)
