Sateri Homes residents receive assistance in transfer

BOARDMAN — Efforts are underway to transfer the 28 residents from their homes at one of the two locations owned by Sateri Home Inc. in Boardman.

The process to transfer the residents is complicated, however, said Lisa Solley, the chief of community relations with the Area Agency on Aging 11 Inc.

“They have a choice, but that choice is slim,” she said.

The AAA11’s Long Term Care Ombudsman program, however, is working as part of a team to help the residents and their families with the situation. Solley said the program will be handling the meetings with residents and families to explain their options.
