CANFIELD

Oct. 24

Arrest: Police arrested Jessie Beckett, 44, of Mahoning Avenue, Lake Milton, on a domestic-violence charge.

Oct. 27

Warrant: Andrew Beistel, 49, of Fawn Drive, Canfield, surrendered to police on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.

Oct. 29

Drugs: Police arrested Nicholette Zordich, 18, of Forest Hill Drive, Youngstown, on charges of drug trafficking, drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol.

Oct. 30

Warrant: David McCallister, 20, of East 6th Street, Salem, surrendered to police on a mayor’s court warrant for failure to appear.

Nov. 2

Drugs: Police arrested Robert Goonen, 18, of Valley Road, Darlington, Pa., and charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia; Kayla Gonzales, 18, of Cherokee Drive, Beaver Falls, Pa., on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia; and a 17-year-old male from Beaver Falls, Pa., arrested on charges of violation of a protection order and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 27

Theft: A woman misplaced her wallet at Aldi’s, 5863 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was stolen from a home in 700 block of Purdue Avenue.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Red Apple Drive.

Obstructing official business: Police arrested Latora Blackmon, 28, of Bonnie Brae, Warren, on a charge of providing false information to authorities.

Shoplifting: Police arrested Ashley Sales, 24, of Roy Street, Youngstown, on theft charges. She is accused of shoplifting two sets of earrings worth $5.76 at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police arrested Charles Wallace, 28, of Barclay-Messerly Road, Leavittsburg, on charges of theft, complicity and possession of criminal tools and Danielle Lindic, 29, of Belvedere Avenue, Warren, on charges of theft, possession of criminal tools and complicity. Police have accused them of stealing two hard drives valued at $66 and $69, respectively, at Walmart.

Burglary: No forced entry was reported but a television was missing from a home in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Tomica Allen, 39, of Wesley Avenue, Youngstown, on a warrant for assault at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested Chad Kimble, 32, who said he was homeless, on a charge of criminal trespassing at the Internet Cafe, 4403 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 28

Theft: The money bag was reported stolen from the McDonald’s restaurant, 5524 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: An electric scooter was recovered at a home in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Crossing.

Fraud: An unauthorized withdrawal was made from the account of a homeowner in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: A cellphone was reported stolen from Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Charles Thomas, 42, of Cleveland on a warrant for nonsupport of dependents, and Gary Bradley, 54, of Cleveland, on charges of drug possession and a drug-trafficking offense.

Aggravated menacing: Threatening text messages were reported at a home in the 100 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Burglary: Tools were taken from an attached garage and shed at a home in the 70 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

Oct. 29

Felonious assault: Several bullets were fired into a residence in the 5000 block of Argonne Drive, and the suspects fled on foot.

Criminal damaging: A tire was cut on a vehicle parked at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: Newspapers were repeatedly stolen from a home in the 100 block of South Raccoon Road.

Vehicle theft: A 2014 white Chevrolet truck was stolen from Enterprise Rentals, 5000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An electric meter was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Jane Miner, 50, of Argonne Avenue, Austintown, on a warrant for falsification.

Property damage: Copper was cut but not taken and a door was damaged at a home in the 300 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

Breaking and entering: Several items were taken from a garage at a home in the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Two unauthorized charges were reported on the account of a homeowner in the 5000 block of West Radio Road.

Oct. 30

Warrant: Police arrested Jessica Taylor, 32, of DeHoff Drive, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of petty theft, theft and possession of criminal tools.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a vehicle’s rear window was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Theft: A brown female Puggle dog was stolen from the homeowner in the 100 block of North Main Street.

Warrant: Police arrested Lyndsey Martin, 19, of Rosemont Avenue, on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of petty theft, disorderly conduct, possession of drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 31

Aggravated menacing: A 15-year-old girl told police she was receiving phone threats at her home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was stolen with no signs of forced entry at a home in the 3000 block of Artmar Drive.

Theft: A purse was stolen from an auto parked at Lane Funeral Home, 5797 Mahoning Ave.

Returned property: A vehicle was returned to a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.

Nov. 1

Arrests: Police arrested William Matsouris, 21, of North Roanoke Avenue, and a 17-year-old male, on charges of domestic violence.

Drug offense: Police arrested Terrance Rutledge, 26, of Oxford Avenue, Youngstown, on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of dangerous drugs, and Luther Finley, 26, also of Oxford, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Jason Hobson, 32, of Kenmore Avenue, Warren, for disorderly conduct.

Felonious assault: Police arrested Mark Burrows, 41, of South Beverly Avenue, on a charge of felonious assault.

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested Jeffrey Starr, 35, of Westminster Avenue, on a charge of criminal trespassing at a St. Elizabeth Health Center facility, 5262 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: There was no sign of forced entry but money was taken at an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Criminal damaging: Tires were slashed on a vehicle parked at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Andrew Boyer, 31, of Salt Springs Road, Mineral Ridge, on a warrant for assault.

Burglary: A computer and camera were taken from a home in the 100 block of South Turner Road. Police said the front door was kicked in.

Nov. 2

Criminal damaging: Several vehicles were damaged with paint and an unidentified substance on Westchester Drive and South Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: Police arrested Ramez Fattah, 22, of Kirk Road, on charges of resisting arrest, drug abuse and possession of dangerous drugs.

Burglary: A laptop computer and a video-game system were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of South Meridian Road.

Criminal damage: The driver’s-side mirror of a vehicle was damaged at a home in the 300 block of Rutland Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A slot machine was damaged by an unidentified male at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 655 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
