Eva Maria Mastromatteo and Miguel Angelo Diaz exchanged vows July 5 at St. Columba Cathedral. The Rev. John Trimbur officiated for the afternoon ceremony. A reception followed at Leo’s Ristorante and Banquet Center in Howland.

Vincent and Donna J. Mastromatteo of Austintown are the parents of the bride, and Miguel A. Diaz of Boardman is the father of the groom. The late Nereida Diaz is the groom’s mother.

The bride’s sister, Melina Orr, and Teresa Birkner were her honor attendants. Natalie and Olivia Orr, nieces of the bride; Kristen Mottram; and Sarah Hahn were bridesmaids. The bride’s niece Gabriella Orr was the flower girl.

Jeff Wilson and Joe Rucci shared the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Victor Serrano, the groom’s brother; Carmen DeCerbo; and Justin Cownden.

The bride graduated from the University of Akron with degrees in mass media communication and public relations. She is an anchor and producer for WSEE/WICU Television in Erie, Pa.

The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in business administration. He is a project manager for Roberts Trucking in North East, Pa.

The couple honeymooned at Grand Case in St. Martin and reside in Erie.
