Holiday weekend planned at Volant

VOLANT, PA.

Holiday activities are planned in Volant on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday activities include Santa’s arrival in a horse-drawn carriage at 2 p.m., strolling musicians with holiday songs and shops that are decorated for the season.

Breakfast with Santa will be at 9 a.m. Saturday. Call for reservations to Neshannock Creek Inn at 724-533-2233.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be Amish doughnuts, baked goods, holiday candy, local honey, produce, cheeses and other farm products for sale. There will be a beehive demonstration, and entertainment will be provided by Lawrence County Brass from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. There will be a Reunion at the Mill from 2 to 6 p.m.

Register at the Kitchen Shoppe or call 724-533-2983 to participate in a Cookie Walk for $5 per person, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
