Group will host ceremony and lunch

YOUNGSTOWN

Mount Hope Veterans Memorial Park Inc., a nonprofit group organized to restore Mount Hope Cemetery, Wardle Avenue and Liberty Road, will host a Veterans Day Ceremony at Mount Hope Cemetery Saturday followed by a $10 fundraising lunch at Reed’s A.M.E. Church, 1908 Jacobs Road.

The ceremony is free, and all proceeds from the lunch go towards the continued restoration of Mount Hope Cemetery.

Lunch will feature baked chicken and rice pilaf. The lunches are eat-in, or takeout.
