World War I items at Sutliff Museum

WARREN

The Sutliff Museum will host an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday featuring an exhibit of World War I items to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the war. Uniforms, photos, post- cards from soldiers, medals and mementos soldiers carried with them into battle are among the items on display. Refreshments and guided tours will be offered. The museum is in the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NE. Admission is free.

USA Dance offers Snowflake Ball

USA Dance of Youngstown-Warren Ballroom Dance Association will present its annual Snowflake Ball on Dec. 7 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Avon Oaks Ballroom, 1401 N. State St. The evening will feature a dance, buffet dinner and show featuring Elina Budagyan and Vyacheslaw Polubnev. There also will be open dancing in a variety of styles.
