ELECTION UPDATE | Campbell schools renewal levy wins

CAMPBELL

Campbell voters have approved a 14.4-mill, five-year renewal levy for the school district.

“On behalf of the Campbell City School District, we sincerely appreciate and thank our citizens for their continued support given to the students we sere here in this great community,” Superintendent Matthew Bowen said in a statement. “We will continue and remain fiscally responsible while exploring additional opportunities to prepare students for their futures.”

The levy will raise $989,711 annually for the school district, at a cost of about $444 each year for the owner of a $100,000 home.

The levy originally passed in 2000, and was renewed in 2005 and 2010.
