More than $10,000 in goods stolen from Boardman home

More than $10,000 worth of items were reported stolen from a Halloween party on the 8500 block of Twin Oaks Court over the weekend.

An Xbox game console, numerous game controllers, a Panasonic 3-D DVD player, a Sony Play Station 4, a suitcase belonging to a guest, a North Face backpack, and men’s hiking shoes were among the stolen items, the total of which was estimated at $10,565, according to a police report.

The gaming items belonged to the owner of the house. The other items belonged to guests at a Halloween party Saturday.

The host of the party said a group of uninvited guests showed up and he believes they might have been involved in the theft. He said they were asked to leave once, and then again after they returned.
