Man punches, damages VLT at racino

AUSTINTOWN

A video lottery terminal was damaged over the weekend at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course.

A police report detailed that a man punched a machine 10 times, cracking the screen, and left the business, 655 N. Canfield-Niles Rd., early Sunday. The incident was reported to authorities at 1:28 a.m. Sunday.

Racino officials caught the incident on camera and were told of the event by a patron of the facility.

Township detectives are investigating.
