Stitches in Time will meet at library

Stitches in Time meets the third Wednesday evening of each month. This month’s meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 19 in the library’s Quaker Room at 821 E. State St. Take along your project and relax. No registration is needed. If you have questions call 330-332-0042.

D.A.L.E. Foundation plans drive for needy

The D.A.L.E. Foundation will have its fourth annual food and clothing drive Nov. 22. This drive will benefit families in need in the Warren area. The purpose of the D.A.L.E. Foundation is to spread random acts of kindness in memory of Dale Settle Jr., who was shot to death in 2011.

His family established the D.A.L.E. Foundation, which stands for Do A Little Extra for those in need.

Church schedules holiday bazaar

WARREN

Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, will have its 2014 Holiday Treasures Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 22.

Lunch will be for sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Tapestries of Ohio will sing holiday carols.

A quilt raffle consists of a queen size quilt with two standard shams, handmade by the women of the church. The drawing will be at 1 p.m., and the winner need not be present. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. For tickets call 330-372-4998.

A basket auction will feature a variety of themed baskets. The bazaar will showcase crafts, Christmas decorations, ornaments, jewelry, handmade items, collectibles and more.

West Side Cats is seeking volunteers
