Western Reserve softball team falls 2-0

The Western Reserve High School softball team lost, 2-0, to Cuyahoga Heights in the Division IV regional at Kent State University.

Senior Gabby Stubbs had the Blue Devils' only hit, a first-inning infield single.

Cuyahoga Heights pitcher Meredith Chopka faced the minimum 21 batters in tossing the one-hitter.

The Blue Devils, champions of the Inter Tri-County League Tier Two, finish 21-3.
