The 103-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in Niles is open for business.

The new hotel is at 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road and is connected to Eastwood Mall.

It makes one of 23 hotels in Ohio owned by TMI Hospitality of Fargo, N.D.

There are one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites available at different rates depending on the length of stay.

Each suite has a fully equipped kitchen and Internet access.

The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, dry- cleaning service, a guest laundry room, an exercise room, a sport court, indoor pool, whirlpool, a business library and an outdoor patio.

Child-care center to mark expansion

Tiny Faces Childcare will have a ribbon-cutting to mark its expansion at 10 a.m. Monday.

The day care is at 211 Redondo Road.

Tiny Faces has been in operation since 2011 as an in-home child-care service. The success of the business led to the expansion at the Heart Reach Ministries building.

The center offers the fundamentals of preschool learning, homework assistance, karate, basketball and puppetry.

Hours at the center are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The center is closed Sunday.
