WARREN

Greater Apostolic Faith Church, 1571 Tod Ave. NW, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Elder Philip W. Shealey, pastor, and his wife, minister Deborah C. Shealey.

Services are planned June 8 and June 10-15.

A semi-formal event will be at 6 p.m. June 14 at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., featuring Marvin Sapp, recording artist.

Tickets are $60 for adults and $30 for children 12 and younger.

Drive-in services

ANDOVER

First United Methodist Church of Andover, 181 S. Main St., will sponsor drive-in outdoor services at 9:30 a.m. Sundays through Aug. 31 at Wildwood Acres Campgrounds, intersection of state Route 7 and Marvin Road.

Special music will feature Sound Witness on July 13 and Dan Schall on Aug. 10.

This is the 42nd year for services.

Retreat offered

VILLA MARIA, PA.

Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will be the setting for “Spirit: The Power of the Retreat” from 4 to 6 p.m. June 17.

The retreat is a capacity building event by Raymond John Wean Foundation.

Presenters will be Sister Barbara O’Donnell, Sisters of the Humility of Mary, an educator who offers programs integrating spirituality and ecological sustainability, and Matt Abramowski, program director at the center.

Registration is $10, and light refreshments will be provided.

Reception set

LISBON

The New Lisbon Presbyterian Church, 111 E. Chestnut St., will host a public reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday for Pastor Mark Wilds and his wife, Karen. He retired after 12 years with the New Lisbon congregation, officiating at his last service May 18.

Before coming to Lisbon, he served more than 30 years with First United Presbyterian Church in Newell, W.Va.,

He was ordained July 6, 1973.
