Nicole Romeo and Jeff Davis, both of Boardman, are announcing their engagement.

The parents of the bride-elect are Pat and Rochelle Romeo of Boardman. Jeff and Donna Davis of Austintown are the parents of the future groom.

The couple are planning to exchange vows Aug. 30 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. A reception will follow at St. Michael Family Life Center in Canfield.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Youngstown State University. She is a caseworker for Mahoning County Children Services in Youngstown.

Her fiancé is a firefighter for Youngstown Fire Department and is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He served from 2008 to 2012, including seven months spent in Afghanistan.
