Cause unknown for failed phones at city hall Friday

YOUNGSTOWN

It remains a mystery as to why telephone service was out most of the day Friday at Youngstown City Hall.

Service was lost at about 9:30 a.m., and it took several hours for it to be restored late in the afternoon.

City officials didn’t say what caused the problem.
