Youngstown City Hall phone system shut down -- for now

YOUNGSTOWN — Work being done by AT&T to city hall’s telephone system has shut it down for a while.

The phones in city departments — including the courts, police and water departments — are not working.

However, 911 phone lines are working and should be used for emergency calls only.
