Teen Straight Talk family conference is June 6-7 in Warren

WARREN — Teen Straight Talk, a local faith-based organization dedicated to teens and families, is partnering with local pastors for the 2014 “Help for the Hurting” family conference at DiVieste Banquet Room, 754 N. River Road.

On June 6, a banquet at 6 p.m. will feature Bishop Joey Johnson, author of “God Is Greater Than Family Mess,” and founder and senior pastor of The House of the Lord Church in Akron.

On June 7, the conference for adults and youth will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast. Bishop Johnson, Mary Duke, TST executive director, and local pastors will lead a panel discussion for adults.
