AUSTINTOWN — If you're looking for a job at the Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, now is the time to apply.

This morning, Mike Galle, general manager of the site, along with members of his team announced the start of the hiring process for the racino — a $250 million gaming, dining, entertainment and thoroughbred racing facility off state Route 46 expected to open in the fall.

There will be two job fairs for the race course: the first is in the former Fashion Bug in Austintown Plaza from noon to 8 p.m. June 9 and the second is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. June 25 at Stambaugh Auditorium on Fifth Avenue in Youngstown.

Approximately 400 positions in food and beverage, video lottery terminals, finance and accounting, environmental services, surveillance, racing, count room and more will be available with 65 percent of those jobs full time with benefits.
