Vindicator spelling champion correctly spells ‘narcissistic’

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD. — Annabelle Day, 12, the grand champion of the 81st Vindicator Regional Spelling Bee, correctly spelled “narcissistic” in the second round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee this morning. The next round begins at 1:15 p.m. Annabelle is a seventh-grader at Willow Creek Learning Center in Boardman.
