Urban landscape pruning clinic June 3 in Youngstown


YOUNGSTOWN — The Ohio State University Extension is hosting an Urban Landscape Pruning Clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. June 3 at the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave.

Participants will learn to prune for maximum flower potential, to minimize disease and to make great shapes in landscapes. The session will review proper tools, techniques and information needed to do the best job. Participants will walk around the museum grounds and test their pruning skills.

The class will take place rain or shine. Participants should dress for outdoor activities and bring a lawn chair if they wish to sit. There is no cost for the clinic, but pre-registration is required. For information and pre-registration, 330-533-5538.
