Racino to discuss recruitment, hiring

AUSTINTOWN

The Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course will have a news conference Thursday on the Austintown racino’s recruitment and hiring process.

The conference is at 11 a.m. at the Hollywood Gaming Career Center in Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Mike Galle, general manager of the new racino that is expected to open in the early fall, and members of his executive team will discuss the specific details of recruitment.

Penn National Gaming Inc. invested $250 billion in the new racino.

About 1,000 jobs were created directly and indirectly because of the racino.

Farmers National declares dividend

CANFIELD

Farmers National Banc Corp. declared a cash dividend of 3 cents per share.

The common-stock cash dividend will have a record date of June 13 and is payable to shareholders June 30.
