Lottery Express in Boardman robbed

BOARDMAN — Police are seeking leads into who broke in to the Lottery Express, 5955 South Ave., and took $600.

According to a police report, authorities arrived at the business at 11:13 p.m. Monday. A rear screen door and a steel entry door had been pried open.

A safe was pried from the floor and taken, containing about $300. Another $300 was taken from an open cash register, according to the police report.

The manager told police several employees have been let go over the past few months over disciplinary issues and money shortages.
