FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday or 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be available at 11 a.m.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato with cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The cost is $6 per dozen. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; no containers are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance. This is the last sale of the season.

SATURDAY

First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will host a spaghetti dinner and silent auction from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $8 per person and children 4 and under eat for free.

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, will offer a community breakfast from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Free clothing will be distributed during the breakfast.

North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. for a donation. For information call the church at 330-549-2333.

SUNDAY

St. Brendan Church, 2800 Oakwood Ave., Youngstown, is sponsoring a dinner and basket auction from noon to 5 p.m. in Maxwell Hall. Dinners will comprise chicken francaise, pasta a la vodka, salad, green beans, dessert and coffee. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $5 for children 4 to 10 and free for kids 3 and under. Takeouts will be available. There also will be a 50-50 drawing. Winners do not need to be present.

St. James the Apostle Church, 4019 U.S. Route 422, Pulaski, Pa., will serve a breakfast brunch and Ted’s strawberry social from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Adults meals cost $8 and children’s meals cost $3. It will consist of French toast, sweet cheese filling, buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup or strawberries, scrambled eggs, eggs with peppers, onions and cheese, home fries, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, cinnamon rolls, hot or cold cereals, or shortcakes with strawberries and ice cream and coffee, tea, juices and milk.

VFW Post 2799 Ladies Auxiliary will host a homestyle breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. The menu comprises eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea.
