Boardman teen charged with shoplifiting

BOARDMAN — Police arrested a 16-year-old boy for reportedly stealing a Harry Potter DVD set from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Police were called to the business at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday. According to the police report, the teenager was detained by store authorities after he took the DVD set valued at $69.96.

He is charged with one count of misdemeanor theft, and a court date is pending in juvenile court.
