SW Ohio sheriff: Body found rolled inside carpet

A sheriff’s office in southwest Ohio says a body has been found rolled inside a carpet.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says it’s looking for any details about what could have happened to the man, who was found dead Sunday night in Jefferson Township.

Deputies were called to a road, where they say they found the body in the area.

The office says it has no other information about the man’s death or his identity. The Montgomery County coroner also responded to the scene.

WHIO-TV in Dayton reports that someone spotted a shoe sticking out of the carpet and called authoriies.
