N.Y. man gets prison time for sex with Austintown teen girl

CLEVELAND — A Johnstown, N.Y., man has been sentenced to 5 1/2 years in federal prison, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release, after he pleaded guilty to crossing state lines to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a 15-year-old Austintown girl.

Gary C. Green Jr., 43, drew the sentence today from U.S. District Court Judge Donald C. Nugent.

Having initiated their communication in an Internet chat room, Green and the girl exchanged cellphone photos of each other, some of them nude, between January and July 2013, according to an FBI agent’s affidavit.

Green, who was an Albany University security guard, drove to Austintown and engaged in sexual conduct with the girl in his vehicle in a motel parking lot Aug. 4, the affidavit said.
