UPDATED | Struthers business engulfed in flames

STRUTHERS — Multiple fire departments and about 40 firefighters battled a blaze late Monday morning near the intersection of Youngstown-Poland Road and Spring Street.

Struthers Chair and Tent Rental operated in that section of the building.

The building was fully engulfed in flames when emergency personnel arrived, Fire Chief Gary Mudryk said.

Troyer Farms, a potato chip company, operated at the building located at 625 Spring Street at one time.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.

"We were able to keep the fire to the building of origin," Mudryk said.

The Struthers, Youngstown and Campbell fire departments and the Western Reserve Fire Station worked on the fire Monday.
