HMHP sponsoring safe sitters program

Registration is open for the Safe Sitter program, sponsored by Humility of Mary Health Partners.

The two-day course teaches boys and girls, 11 to 13, basic first aid, rescue breathing, accident prevention, childcare tips, what to do if a child chokes, and how and when to call for help.

The cost is $28.50. Scholarships are available for those who meet financial eligibility requirements.

Classes are from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 25 and 26 and July 23 and 24 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, and July 9 and 10 and Aug. 6 and 7 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. For information or to register, call 330-480-3070.
