Shea-Canann engagement is announced

ECONOMY, PA.

Stanley and Janet Shea of Economy, Pa., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Shea of Economy, and Christopher Canann of Columbiana.

His parents are Joseph and Carmel Canann of Niles.

Plans are being made for a June 21 ceremony at Our Lady of Peace Church in Conway, Pa. A reception will follow at Drake’s Landing in Canfield. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Geneva College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary-special education. She is a learning support teacher for South Side Area School District in Hookstown, Pa.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. He is assistant principal for East Palestine School District.
