First two groups qualify for the Greatest Scramble

The Greatest Golfer of the Valley was off and running last weekend, as the first two teams earned entrance into this year’s Greatest Scramble.

The foursome of Mark Jordan, Robert Franks, Jim Franks and Dr. David Castilla were winners of the Rolfe Golf Scramble for Relay for Life.

They will be joined by Eric Glista, Bill Wilson, Andy Cameron and Pete Pattis, who won the Take a Swing for Autism Scramble with a score of 14-under par.

This is Year 2 of the Jason Kokrak Greatest Scramble Challenge. To get into the Greatest Scramble, you have to win a charity scramble elsewhere in the Valley.

Winners of the 24 qualifying events will earn a spot in the Greatest Scramble on Aug. 18 at The Lake Club.

Superior Beverage’s support of this program will provide $300 in golf gear to each of those 24 charities this summer.
