LOWELLVILLE

The 11th annual Golden String Drive for the Disabled will tee off June 13 at Knoll Run Golf Course, 1421 Coitsville-Struthers Road.

The outing will benefit Golden String, which has the mission of enhancing the quality of life of disabled people in the community.

The format is an 18-hole four-person scramble. The fees are $280 per foursome and $70 per player. Included are greens fees and cart, breakfast, lunch and dinner, event prizes and skill prizes.

The agenda follows: 8 a.m., registration; 9 a.m., shotgun start; and 11 a.m., lunch. Dinner and awards will follow the completion of golf.

A party will follow at the pavilion at Farmer Casey’s Ranch after the dinner and awards. Details will be provided at the outing.

Packages are a corporate package for $600, which receives four golf participants, banner recognition as a corporate sponsor and hole sponsorship; and hole sponsor package for $100, which offers hole sponsorship.
