Molly McAllen, Scott Koch plan July rites

CANFIELD

Dr. Patricia and Edward R. McAllen Jr. of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Molly McAllen, and Scott Koch, both of Virginia Beach, Va.

His parents are Ron and Kathy Koch of Manhattan Beach, Calif.

The couple are planning to exchange vows at 6 p.m. July 12 at Lesner Inn Catering Club in Virginia Beach, where the reception also will take place. Invitations will be issued for both events.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Kent State University. She teaches seventh-grade English at Lakespur Middle School in Virginia Beach.

Her fiancé earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Loyola Marymount University, a master’s degree from the Naval War College in Newport Beach, R.I., and graduated from Officer’s Candidacy School in Pensacola, Fla. He is a U.S. Navy Lt. Commander with the VFA-11 Red Ripper Squadron in Virginia Beach.
