Students at C.H. Campbell Elementary School enjoyed being appreciated while they were treated to an ice cream sundae bar during the school’s annual Student Appreciation Day on May 16.

The students enjoyed a Handel’s ice cream sundae bar outside after lunch and during their recess time and then enjoyed some time playing on the playground. The ice cream bar was provided by the school’s PTO, and included such topping as chocolate, caramel, sprinkles, Oreos, gummy bears, whipped cream and, of course, the cherry on top.

PTO parent volunteers helped the students concoct their sundaes and, despite the cooler weather, the students ate them on the playground.

C.H. Campbell Elementary School’s Student Appreciation Day is offered annually at the school to thank the students for a great school year.
