Boardman man charged in Youngstown homicide

YOUNGSTOWN— A Boardman man was arrested on an aggravated murder warrant about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in connection with a Dec. 29 homicide on the North Side.

Charles Stanley Jr. of Shields Road was arrested at a home on Dean Street last week for an aggravated burglary and is expected to be arraigned in municipal court today. He had the aggravated murder charge added Thursday as he was in the Mahoning County jail.

He is charged in the death of 20-year-old Aldric Jones, who died shortly after being shot at a 736 Fairmont Ave. home about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 29.
