Woman charged with loitering for prostitution

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a Warren Avenue woman, Julie Lay, 41, was cited on a charge of loitering for prostitution about 2:50 p.m. at Hillman and West LaClede avenues.

Reports said she was spotted in the street trying to flag down cars. She denied any wrongdoing but reports said she had been arrested on prostitution charges several times before.

Lay was released after she was given a citation, reports said.
