Firefighters mopping up blaze on East Side

YOUNGSTOWN— Firefighters are mopping up a blaze at a home in the 1500 block of Council Rock on the East Side.

Crews were called at 10:15 a.m. and the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Heat damaged a home next door and a car in the drive of another home.

One person was inside but he got out safely. Investigators said the blaze started in the back of the home
