Annual YMCA outing planned for Saturday

The YMCA of Youngstown will have its annual Memorial 5 and Memorial Outdoor Spin on Saturday at the Central YMCA, 201 E. Commerce St.

The Memorial 5 is a 5-mile race throughout the streets of downtown Youngstown and Mill Creek Park, starting at 9 a.m. with a cost of $15 for YMCA members and $18 for non-members, which covers registration and a race shirt. Race day registration is $20. A free kid’s race will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The Outdoor Spin is a stationary event for spinners to enjoy spring weather under an event tent. Ride time reservations are filling quickly but are still available for 7:45 and 9 a.m. The Outdoor Spin will be $15 for Y members and $22 for nonmembers; race day registration is $23 and $30 respectively.

Costs and times can be coordinated for individuals who wish to participate in both events.
