YSU baseball team tops Valpo in Horizon League tournament opener

MEQUON, WIS. — The Youngstown State baseball team began Horizon League tournament play Wednesday with a 7-3 victory over Valparaiso at Kapco Park.

The first-round win sends the Penguins into a second-round game against Wright State at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
