Vicki Lawrence ‘Mama’ coming to Packard

Vicki Lawrence and “Mama” will come to W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave., for an 8 p.m. show Oct. 18. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Packard box office, online at packardmusichall.com and by phone at 330-841-2931.

Prices range from $31 to $50, with a VIP package that includes a pre-show meet-and-greet with Lawrence available for $90.

In the show, singer and comedian Lawrence (“The Carol Burnett Show,” “Mama’s Family”) entertains with her opinionated and mouthy “Mama” character.

“I think people will get a kick out of the things Mama has an opinion about,” said Lawrence in a press release. “We’re creating new material with a more modern and cutting edge. Where Mama is concerned, expect the unexpected. There’s really nothing she can’t do.”

This is the first show in the 2014-15 Back at the Pack series 2014-15 Season promoted by Sunrise Entertainment, presented by Ken Haidaris and Marty Cohen of Warren. The rest of the series will be announced later. Go to backatthepack.com.
