Disney Live show coming to Covelli

YOUNGSTOWN

Disney Live’s “Mickey’s Music Festival” will come to Covelli Centre Oct. 18 with shows at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Tickets for the show for young children will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 27 at the arena box office, Ticketmaster.com and all ticketmaster outlets, and by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Prices are $47, $34, $24 and $17. All children age 1 and older must have a ticket.

Film, pop culture fest this weekend

AUSTINTOWN

Mohnster Con, a new film, memorabilia and pop culture festival, will be Saturday (11 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) at the Best Western Meander Inn, 870 Canfield-Niles Road (state Route 46). Admission is $5 ($8 for a two-day pass; free for children 12 and under).

Guests can meet local filmmakers, authors and celebrities, buy movie memorabilia, and get a chance to audition for local films.

Special guests include Chris Hahn (WWE wrestler Johnny Paradise); Joey Mohn (director of “Night of the Cannibals”); Ashley Shaw and Abby Kay (Joey Mohn’s “Gruesome”); Travis Bowen (director of “The Girl”), and Bryan Humphrey (“Chronicles of a Serial Killer”).

Street fair returns this weekend

Film seeks extras

Auditions will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lemodeln Model and Talent Agency, 7536 Market St., for the feature film “Forty Days,” by Cleveland filmmaker Vitaliy Versace. Needed are 200 extras, plus some roles with speaking parts. Males and female of all ages, ethnicities, shapes and sizes are needed.
