Teacher’s license suspended over video

POLAND — A veteran teacher’s license has been suspended after she was accused of showing a video to her sixth-grade students that contained material that wasn’t age appropriate.

The incident occurred last school year when Linda Angelo, 61, showed the video to her classes. Angelo signed a consent agreement with the Ohio Department of Education this week, agreeing to a two-year suspension of her teaching certificate with all but 60 days of the suspension stayed.

The effective dates is June 12 through Aug. 11.

Angelo has been on sick leave since February.
