Fundraiser to help dog regain her sight

CANFIELD

Legacy Dog Rescue and Friends of Fido are joining forces to help Sophie, a 10-pound poodle mix, who was picked up in Youngstown as a stray — and she’s blind.

With surgery, she can regain her sight. She is only 6 years old.

From noon to 5 p.m. June 14 there will be a huge basket auction at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road.

There will be numerous baskets and prizes to win.
