D&E Counseling receives $5, 000 grant

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR D&E Counseling Center recently received a $5,000 grant from the Ronald McDonald Charities of Mahoning Valley and Western Pennsylvania for its Upstream Plus program. The grant will enable the center to purchase reading books, workbooks, art supplies and computer games and will help them begin a lending library for children in the program. Upstream Plus is a literacy and social, emotional and behavioral development program for children in preschool through second grade in Youngstown City schools and for their parents.
