Three motorcyclists injured in crash with SUV

WARREN

Two of three motorcyclists injured in a Monday night crash with a sport utility vehicle have been released from the hospital. One was transferred to St. Elizabeth Health Center, but his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The 11:15 p.m. accident occurred on Elm Road near Sheridan Street.

One man and woman were on one motorcycle, a single male was on the other. They were riding together, and two other motorcyclists were behind them but not involved in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation, with officers remaining at the scene until 4 a.m., said Det. Mike Stabile of the Warren Police Department.

“They’re lucky with the amount of damage to the motorcycles and the car that nobody was more seriously injured,” Stabile said.

The accident report was not complete as of 8 a.m. today, and the names of the victims were not available.
