Planning a wedding in December are Camille Marie Pia of New Castle, Pa., and Stephen Anthony Colucci of Canfield, who are announcing their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karen Cannon of New Castle and Carl and Becky Pia of Coraopolis, Pa. The prospective groom is the son of Charles Colucci of Boardman and the late Karen Colucci.

The couple’s afternoon ceremony will take place at Mother Mary of Hope Parish in New Castle. A reception is planned for Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. Invitations for both will be extended.

Miss Pia graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and from Slippery Rock University with a master’s degree in school counseling. She is employed as a school counselor for Mohawk Area School District in Bessemer, Pa.

Mr. Colucci earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in administration from Westminster College. He is employed as an intervention specialist for Boardman School District.
